Drey Pavlov is a physician based in Seattle, WA who was introduced to photography over ten years ago by his partner Megan. As a deeply inartistic science nerd, Drey had never appreciated photography or understood why people paid huge sums of money for giant cameras when small ones took pictures just fine. When he finally realized that photography was fundamentally about manipulating the physics of light to make art he became fascinated and embarked on a decade long pursuit of art through the intersection of photography and the natural sciences.
